Litter wastes your taxes. Local, state and federal governments spend millions of dollars in tax money annually removing litter caused by illegal acts and carelessness. This is money needed for other important services. Help Keep Charlotte Beautiful by reporting those that litter to local law enforcement officials or Code Compliance (743-1247) Report: Time, location, vehicle description, license plate number (if possible) and description of litter item. If you require community service hours to qualify for the Florida Academic Scholarship, or meet a graduation requirement, etc., we have various projects to help meet your requirements. |
